New corporate website

Gillespie Macandrew is a top Scottish law firm with offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth who offer business, private and property services.  Cazinc worked closely with their marketing and property teams to build a completely new website that is highly reliable, easy to manage and much more flexible and responsive to their needs.

Working again with our design partner Project, we completely rebuilt SaxBam’s website on a new, more stable platform — WordPress — with greater flexibility and ease of use. This replaced an earlier, proprietary .NET site.

During the build we also optimised the front-end of the site so that it loads faster and works better on mobile devices, refined and updated the visual appearance and implemented several changes related to new GDPR requirements. Most importantly though, the new site is now all set for future expansion and new functionality.

Crossref works to make scholarly content easier to find, cite, link and assess. They came to us in late 2015 seeking a new website, and wanted help building something that itself reflected the organisation’s goal of building community. We relished the challenge and together have created a site based on Hugo, an exciting new static site generator, which is super fast and easily managed, without any of the overhead or security concerns of a standard CMS-based site.
