Accessibility Statement & Guide
The Cazinc website has been designed using international accessibility guidelines in order to ensure that it is accessible to as wide an audience as possible. If despite these measures you still find it difficult to navigate our site for any reason, please contact us. We’ll do whatever we can to help.
If you are interested in improving the accessibility of your existing website, or in having a new website built that complies with modern accessibility guidelines, please use the Contact Us page to get in touch.
Standards Compliance
The entire Cazinc website complies with priority 1 guidelines of the W3
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, US Federal Government Section
508 Guidelines (now used worldwide as a common set of guidelines
for making accessible websites) and the Disability
Discrimination Act. In fact much of the design has been kept simple
specifically in order to avoid potential accessibility problems.
In addition the Cazinc website validates as XHTML 1 Transitional and valid CSS
level 2.
Every effort has been made to ensure that the above statements are true and correct at the time of posting. If you find otherwise please contact us .
Access Keys & Tab Indexes
This website has been configured using access keys and tab indexes which allow it to be navigated more easily by keyboard, for those that cannot or prefer not to use a pointing device. Most modern browsers support access keys; to use them on Windows press ALT + the access key, and on Macintosh press CTRL + the access key. You’ll find a list of the access keys configured on this site below:
| Access Key | Target Page |
|---|---|
| S | Skip to content |
| H | Home page |
| A | About Us |
| S | Services |
| P | Portfolio |
| C | Contact Us |
| 1 | Accessibility Guidelines (this page) |
| 2 | Privacy Policy |
| 3 | Client Log-in |
Links & Images
For the benefit of those using text browsers or screen readers, images throughout the site have been configured with alternative text which describe them in greater detail.
Links have also been configured with alternative
text and they have been specifically designed to be understandable regardless
of context, i.e. wherever the link may appear in the website, it will be
clear where it leads to, and why it might be useful to click on it. This
should benefit alternate browsers and screen readers such as JAWS which
are able to build lists of all the links on a page. All links which lead
outside of the Cazinc website have been designated with a special icon
(
)
and accompanying alternative text.
Resizable Design, Contrast & Colours
All text has been configured in relative sizes so that it can be resized to suit the viewer. The colours used should offer an adequate contrast balance. Text sizes and weights (e.g. bold) have been used in addition to colours, or instead of colours, so that viewers who suffer from colour blindness can still easily differentiate headings and other important text.
Pop-ups
You won’t find any pop-ups in the site. We don't like pop-ups.
